FanFic:Last of the Railrodads Character Biographies: Dylan and Dulcie Smith
Dylan and Dulcie are two twin children who appear in the 2016 televison series Last of the Railroads.
Bio
Dylan and Dulcie Smith were born in 2035 and abandoned on the doorstep of an orphanage, along with a note stating their names and birthday. The orphanage was a harsh one (it was closed in 2046, after a child care worker noted it was little better than a Dickensian workhouse). They ran away at the age of eight, and were fed and cared for by a friendly engineer.
When he died in 2047, they were left alone with no food, no home, and some experience in railroading (which was swiftly becoming a defunct vocation). Thery learned to live off the land and stayed in an industrial wasteland.
About ten months later, they met Johnny, who by chance had gotten lost and eventually stopped from damage on an old line not far from their home. The three became friends, and Dylan and Dulcie promised to repair him. They were true to their word, and in a little less than two months, Johnny could run again. During this time, the twins made some modifictations to help him run more smoothly and stop his unexpected illnesses. They soon were at the Smoky Valley Railroad.
Although Mr. Capp offered them lodging at a good boarding school, they refused. Instead, they went with Thomas, who had decided to leave. They have not been seen since.
Personality
Dylan and Dulcie are both cheerful and friendly children.
