Spencer & Charlie

Plot

Spencer meets Charlie for the first time and thinks he's silly for wanting to have fun and he tries to show him that work is better than fun. But, Spencer gets a little carried away when he takes James' coal cars and crashes into a signal box. Charlie gets help and comes back with Rocky and Sir Topham Hatt. Sir Topham Hatt is cross with Spencer and Spencer tells Charlie that he's sorry and that Charlie really is a useful engine.

Thomas & The Beanstalk

Plot

Thomas is puffing along when Charlie challenges him to a race. On the way Thomas sees a beanstalk on the main line. After the race is over Thomas decides to warn Gordon. Gordon does not listen and puffs away. When Gordon sees the beanstalk, it is too late. Thomas is sent to rescue Gordon and take him to the Steamworks. After Gordon is fixed, he promises to always listen to Thomas about trouble on the line.

Yellow Trucks

Plot

Sir Topham Hatt tells Edward to collect some yellow trucks. Edward is very happy because yellow trucks are rare. Instead of bringing them to the docks, Edward decides to show his friends. The trucks break away just after showing Flora. Edward stops them right before they crash into the buffers. Edward arrives at the docks just in time. Edward is now very happy.

Stanley The Brave

Plot

Stanley is afraid of thunderstorms. One day, a thunderstorm hits Sodor. Diesel and Daisy tease Stanley about being afraid. Later, Stanley has to be brave and test a bridge that Diesel and Daisy are too heavy to go on. Afterwards, Diesel and Daisy admit that Stanley is brave and Stanley is no longer afraid of thunderstorms.

Plot

Plot

When the engines plan to throw James a surprise party, they tell him lies so he won't find out about his party. James is shocked by the lies they've told him and gets cross. At the end of the day he arrives at Tidmouth Sheds where everybody is ready for his party. James gets so excited that he is not cross anymore.

The Twin Triumph

Plot

Donald and Douglas are to take a very heavy load from Brendam Docks to Knapford Station. It is night time and they puff along the way. They begin having trouble when a big storm comes and it starts to rain. The twins try hard and hard to get there on time. When they get to Knapford Station the stationmasters cheer for Donald and Douglas.

Plot

Plot

Toby has to take Champion, the bull, to Farmer Trotter. On the way, Champion starts making lots of noise which makes Toby concerned. When Toby goes up Gordons Hill, the couplings snap and the cart with Champion goes rolling down the hill. Toby arrives at Farmer Trotter and sees that Champion is not there. Toby goes back down the line and finds Champion. Champion is then taken to Farmer Trotter and Toby arrives on time.

Plot

Windy Rails

Plot

It is Fall on Sodor and everyones loads are blowing away! This upsets Sir Topham Hatt so he orders all of the engines to put covers on their loads. Gordon refuses to put a cover on his slate so steams off with it before it can be covered. Soon Gordon's load starts to wobble until it falls over! Gordon knows he should cover his load and so he does and delivers in just it time.

Hiro's Missing Gold Cars

Plot

Hiro is very excited because he needs to deliver some gold to the docks. Diesel is jealous of Hiro so decides to steal his gold cars. When Hiro found out about this he was terrified! Hiro's Driver decided to chase down Diesel and get the gold cars back. When Smudger finds out he is being chased he runs away! Eventually Diesel derails at the Fire Station and Hiro gets the gold cars back. Hiro soon delivers the gold cars to the docks and Diesel never messes with Hiro's stuff again.

Stepney Has The Blues

Plot

Stepney is sad because no one ever comes to the Bluebell Railway to visit him. His drivers try to cheer him up, but Stepney is still fustrated. It's nearly Halloween and his driver and fireman tell Sir Topham Hatt if they can have a Halloween celebration at the Bluebell Railway. Lots of engines come and Stepney is pleased. Stepney then tells everyone that this has been the best visit to his railway.

Arry & Bert Help Out

Plot

The steam engines think Arry & Bert cause too much trouble and think they shouldn't be on Sodor. Arry & Bert want to prove that they can be really useful and helpful engines too. One day, James has to pull the express for Gordon. The express is heavier than it is usually. Bulgy challanges James to a race over the hill and to Maron Station. James is in the lead so far. But then, he slips back down the hill because of his heavy train. Arry & Bert see this and they laugh at James. But then they see that he's in a race with Bulgy. They don't want James to lose against Bulgy. So they buffer up behind the express and push. Together, James, Arry & Bert beat Bulgy over the hill and to the station. James thanks Arry & Bert and now thinks they are useful and helpful. And when the other engines hear the news, they all think Arry & Bert and useful and helpful too. And they now think that Arry & Bert should stay on Sodor too.

Rosie & Scruff

Plot

Rosie has to work with Scruff at the Waste Dump while Whiff is being repaired at the Steamworks. But Rosie dosen't want to work with Scruff because he's dirty. So she tries to get him clean. But Rosie ends up getting herself dirty. She gets covered in mud, coal and fish. Scruff helps Rosie get to the wash down. After getting clean, Rosie starts to realize that Scruff is happy being dirty and scruffey. So the two engines work at the waste dump. They work hard to make up for lost time. Soon, the job is done and Whiff returns from the Steamworks. Whiff thanks Rosie for working at the dump for him and Rosie is happy to work engines clean or dirty.

Fast Coach

Plot

Gordon and James tease Old Slow Coach and say that she's slow. Old Slow Coach feels sad and wants to prove to them that she can be fast. One day, Charlie has to take Old Slow Coach to the Docks. As they climb Gordon's Hill, the coupling snaps and Old Slow Coach rolls down the hill very fast. She overtakes James and Gordon on the mainline. Then, she hits the buffers. Charlie arrives to collect her. Gordon and James appolgize to Old Slow Coach for teasing her about her name. And Old Slow Coach feels better.

Plot

Sir Topham Hatt gives Flora the honour of helping James take the carnival train to the carnival. James gets jealous. Edward tries to tell James and Flora to get along. But James dosen't listen. James wants to pull the carnival train by himself. So, he makes up a lie and tells Flora that Sir Topham Hatt wanted her to go to the seaside instead. Later, while pulling the carnival special, James runs out of steam. Edward and Flora give James some coal and water. And all three engines take the carnival train together. They arrive just in time. Later, the three engines watch the childern at the carnival. James appolgizes to Flora for lying to her. And the two engines become good friends.

Captain & The Tour

Plot

Captain starts to get bored riding around in the water and wants to know what it's like to travel on rails. One day, Thomas decides to give Captain a tour of Sodor. Thomas shows Captain Tidmouth Sheds, The Steamworks and The Dieselworks. He was going to show Captain other places. But then, they go over some bumpy pieces of track causing Captain to fall out of the flatbed and on his side. Thomas brings Rocky to lift Captain back onto the flatbed. And Thomas takes Captain back to the Search & Rescue Center. On the way back, they go pass the Quarry and the Waste Dump. Captain thinks those places looking interesting. When they come back to the Search & Rescue Center, Captain decides that traveling by rails can be fun and interesting. But, he likes traveling in the water the best.

A Snowman For All Seasons

Plot

Thomas is charged with the task of picking up baked goods for the Vicar's Sunday School's Spring Party from the bakery. On the way there however, he sees some children standing around a snowman. The children are upset because it is early Spring, and their snowman will soon melt into a puddle. Feeling bad, Thomas volunteers to take the snowman to the Dairy, where they can store in a freezer case. The children load up the snowman and Thomas sets off. Whilst going up Gordon's Hill, the snowballs roll back towards Thomas. Thomas slows down until he reaches the top, but then the snowballs roll forward, picking up snow & speed as they go. They pass (and nearly derail) Gordon, Duck, & Oliver. Then they reach The Steamworks, where Henry is just leaving to bring engine parts to Stanley. He stops, and the snowballs hit him. Then Thomas careens in and smashes into Henry, sending the flatbed into the air, and Thomas off the rails into a snowy ditch below. Edward later shows up with Rocky and Sir Topham Hatt (who is very cross). Sir Topham Hatt scolds Thomas for his silliness and the mess. Thomas then vows to put everything right, and so he does. Later at the party, the children build a small snowman in the shape of Thomas. And to keep it safe, they put it in the freezer of the kitchen. Thomas beams with excitement.
