Gullane Entertainment was a company that produced TV shows for the whole family and was formerly called The Britt Allcroft Company.
Gullane was well known for TV shows such as: Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends, Magic Adventures of Mumfie, Art Attack, Fireman Sam, Sooty and [aptain Pugwash.
- Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends -- First aired 1984. First TV series which was based on the books The Railway Series by Wilbert Awdry. This was narrated by Ringo Starr, Michael Angelis, Alec Baldwin and George Carlin
- James the Cat -- First aired 1984. About a black and white cat who lives in an old house with his friends.
- Fireman Sam -- First aired 1985. About a plucky fireman in Pontypandy who has his fire engine Jupiter bright and clean.
- Shining Time Station -- First aired 1989. A live-action series about a station featuring a cast of characters such as Stacy the Station Master, Schemer the Arcade Owner and Mr. Conductor who tells many stories about Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends.
- Sooty & Co. -- First aired 1993. A new TV series featuring Sooty and his pals Sweep, Soo and Scampy.
- Art Attack -- First aired 1989. An art and craft show hosted by Neil Buchanan
- Magic Adventures of Mumfie -- First aired 1995. Based on a series of books by Katharine Tozer featuring Mumfie and his friends. A musical adventure featuring the voice of Patrick Breen.
- Captain Pugwash --First aired 1998. Captain Pugwash and his mates search for treasure
- Eckhart -- First aired 2000. About a little mouse and his friends who has a lot of adventures traveling around the world.
- Thomas and the Magic Railroad -- First aired 2000. Gullane's only feature length movie. This movie features Thomas and his friends protecting themselves from an evil Diesel 10. This features Alec Baldwin, Mara Wilson, Peter Fonda and Edward Glen as Thomas.
It even owned the Guinness Book of World Records.
Gullane was sold to HIT Entertainment in 2002.
