Semboku Rapid Railway

Semboku Rapid Railway (泉北高速鉄道 Semboku Kōsoku Tetsudō?) is the railroad route of the Osaka Prefectural Urban Development, and connects Nakamozu Station and Izumi-Chūō Station as means of transportation of Senboku New Town.
Operation form
Other than lapel driving inside the line, from Nakamozu running to the Nankai Koya Line, it does mutual through operation to the wreck station. Mainly, Semi-Express trains are the Nankai Koya Line through trains, but Sub. Express trains which pass therough Nakamozu Station connecting to the Osaka Municipal Subway Midosuji Line are operated in the morning on Weekdays.
- ■Sub. Express (区間急行)
- It is operated only in the morning on weekdays as through trains to the Nankai Koya Line. On March 29, 1987, the Sub. Express trains started to run in the morning because of the opening of the Midosuji Line from Abiko in Osaka to Nakamozu in Sakai on April 18 in the same year. Once, the trains are operated from Namba to Komyoike, later to Izumi-chuo in the evening, but from Decemebr 23, 2000, only the trains for Namba are operated in morning.
- ■Semi-Express (準急)
- It is operated as through trains to the Nankai Koya Line.
- ■Local (各停)
- Except from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., Local trains are operated as shuttle trains, however at midnight, only one train is operated from Izumi-Chūō to Namba as a through train to the Nankai koya Line.
