Friday Nights at 'The Manor'
The Slough & Windsor Railway Society holds its regular meetings on Friday evenings at 'The Manor', the Society's meeting place (see below for directions).
Members gather from around 19:30, with the meeting proper starting at 20:00. During the interval, light refreshments are available for purchase. The sales stand is open before the meeting and during the interval.
Meetings are open to members and non-members. There is a nominal admission charge, to cover the running costs of The Manor, with reduced rates for members and the usual concessions.

- -Christian Wolmar is the well-known transport journalist and commentator on current railway matters. Often seen on news programmes, he is also a very enjoyable public speaker.

- 21st -- Miscellaneous and Railwayana Auction
- - Bring something for the Society to sell, bring plenty of money to buy!

This programme of events is subject to change at short notice, for example if a speaker becomes unwell. Although an alternative talk will be arranged, if you are coming from a significant distance it may be advisable to contact the Social Secretary (see SWRS website) to check for last-minute changes.
