"The Rail Cafe in Belen"
On BNSF's transcontinental mainline.
Railfans are always looking for relaxed places with great food to watch trains. There is a new place that fits this criteria in Belen. The recently opened Rail Cafe is adjacent to the New Mexico Rail Runner Express commuter rail station in Belen. The Rail Cafe and the Rail Runner station are just north of the BNSF yard and the Reinken Avenue overpass. Plenty of parking and a great view of 100+ trains per day through Belen.
