The NSB Di 8 is a diesel locomotive used by Norwegian railway company CargoNet to pull light freight trains. The single cab, placed slightly off center, makes them usable for some shunting as well. The 20 engines were built between 1996 and 1997 by Siemens. They are numbered 8 701 to 8 720. The Di 8 has had some reliability problems with engine and electric malfunctions.
