The Keiō Line (京王線, keiō sen?) is the main line of the Keiō Electric Railway. It is 38 km long, and runs from Shinjuku, Tokyo, to the suburban city of Hachiōji.
The Shinjuku-Chōfu portion opened in 1913, and the extension to Hachiōji was completed in 1925.
Travelers should note that the Keiō Line (京王線, keiō sen?) and the JR Keiyō Line (京葉線, keiyō sen?) are separate railways, and have no stations near each other.
