Indian locomotive class WAG-5

WAG-5 is the name of a type of electric locomotive used in India. It is the most successfully used locomotive in Indian railways and the number(1100 incl. variants[1]) of these locomotives built is greater than any other.[2]This class was introduced in 1984.
