From TrainSpottingWorld, for Rail fans everywhere
The Fremont and Elkhorn Valley Railroad (FEVR) is a 17-mile tourist railroad in Dodge County, Nebraska, running between Fremont and Hooper. The railroad runs on tracks originally laid by the Fremont, Elkhorn and Missouri Valley Railroad in 1869. After abandonment by the Chicago and North Western Railway in the 1980s, the line was purchased by the Nebraska Railroad Museum, which also operates the railroad.
