The Woodside railway line railway line, in Victoria, Australia. Which was also part of the fromer Great Southern Railway(South Gippsland line), branching from the current Pakenham line at Dandenong, extending out into the the South Gippsland region, The Woodside section of the line branched off at Yarram railway station.

History

The Woodside Line was part of the former Great Southern Railway, South Gippsland line. The line was well known for its sharp curves and spectacular scenery, it was also one of the last lines to offer a 'Mixed Passenger and Goods' service in Victoria. This service continued to Yarram until the early 1980s. The Woodside section of track was one of the first main sections of the Great Souther railway to close in the 1960s, the section between Yarram and Woodisde, and was then later dismantled.
