We're about to break a record for the greatest amount of snowfall for winter here in Wisconsin, so a lot of my time is used up shoveling snow lately.

Slambo is an administrator of TrainSpottingWorld. He has been an editor of the site since mid-February 2007.

Who am I?

My name is Sean Lamb. I'm currently living in Madison, Wisconsin. I've been a model railroader and railfan for as long as I can remember, and thankfully, have found a wife who shares the hobby with me. Together we have one son who is also a model railroader.

I've been a member of the National Model Railroad Association since 1992, and I'm working my way up through the leadership chain. I'm currently a member of the Board of Directors for the South Central Wisconsin Division where I also serve as the division's Model Contest Chairman and Webmaster. As of April 2006, I am also a Director At Large for the Midwest Region. I am a frequent clinician at the division, region and national levels; my next national level clinics will be at the 2007 convention in Detroit.

I am a member, webmaster and officer of Capitol City "N"Gineers, an organization of NTrak modelers in southern Wisconsin. I also administer my own model railroading website, The Rip Track.

I am also an administrator on the English language edition of Wikipedia, where I am heavily involved in the Trains WikiProject and I am the current lead editor of the featured Trains portal.

What am I doing here?

Primarily, I'm working on adding information that is appropriate here but out of the scope of Wikipedia's inclusion policies. As features are added, I'll be working to help improve them and integrate them into the existing data set. As an administrator here, I will also be watching for potential problems and doing what I can to resolve them.
