Prayagraj Express
Prayag Raj Express is an Indian Railways' express train which runs between the cities of Allahabad and New Delhi, India. It is the longest train in Asia, with more than 25 coaches including 8-10 air-conditioned coaches. It runs on Indian Railways' fastest track section (Allahabad to New Delhi) which is part of its busiest track section (Howrah to New Delhi). It is the third-fastest train in India after Rajdhani and Shatabdi Express.It is the first ISO-9002 certified train of India because of its security features and high priority in Indian Railways.
The Prayagraj Express is hauled by the ABB(Asea-Brown-Boveri,Switzerland) WAP 5 locomotive from GZB(Ghaziabad) shed.This loco is generally used to haul only a few fast-running trains in India such as the Rajdhani and the Shatabdi Express.
