The nameplate of First Great Western Class 43 HST powercar 43139 Driver Stan Martin 25 June 1950 - 6 November 2004 at Bristol Parkway, photographed from the top deck of the car park.

In a ceremony at Exeter St Davids on 25 June 2005, this locomotive was named after the Driver of the 17:35 First Great Western London Paddington to Plymouth service on 6 November 2004 that was tragically derailed in the Ufton Nervet rail crash, after striking a road vehcile on a level crossing.
