SNCF Class BB 27300

The SNCF Class BB 27300 "Prima" electric locomotives are currently being built by Alstom. These locomotives are the passenger equivalent of the freight-only Class BB 27000 and are equipped for push-pull operation. Sixty of these locomotives, numbered 27301-27360, have been ordered by SNCF and STIF for suburban passenger service in the Île-de-France region around Paris, notably pulling VB2N carriages.
