Kandy Station

Kandy Station is a mainline rail station in Kandy, Sri Lanka. Although it appears to be a terminus, one line extends beyond Kandy through a gate and across a level crossing.

Refurbishment
There is a current (2008) refurbishment programme for the station under the auspices of Chevron Sri Lanka, a major part of which is to major on fast drainage after heavy rain, when the station becomes unusable for a short period.[1]
