FanFic:The New Life - Thomas' Wet Friends

Thomas' Wet Friends is a DVD with six direct-to-DVD episodes from Season 13 of The New Life.

Episodes

1. The Narrow-Gauged Train

It's the Narrow Gauge Spring Funfair and there is to be a parade, with all the Narrow Gauge engines decorated and pulling special coaches. Skarloey and Rheneas are excited, because they get to lead the parade. But then, somehow, Sir Handel, Peter Sam, Rusty, Duncan, Duke, Freddie and Mighty Mac all break down at the same time. Skarloey and Rheneas have an idea, though. So all the engines are coupled together and Skarloey and Rheneas pull them through the parade.

2. Edward's Branchline Troubles

Sir Topham Hatt tells Edward he will be working on Thomas' branchline for the next two days. Edward sets off, and loves the beautiful scenery of the branchline, and starts daydreaming. He doesn't see Thomas at Anopha Quarry, and keeps on puffing to Ffarquhar station. There, he doesn't see that he's about to crash off the rails and on to the platform! The passengers quickly got away, but Edward was badly damaged. Edward goes to the Steamworks and then is very happy to be working on a good friend's branchline.

3. George Switches the Points

George the Steamroller is very fed up with having to do the same thing every day, just flatten tarmac on new roads. He decides to take a roll in the countryside for a change. George is happy, but then has an idea. He chugs up on to the rails, and tries to flatten them. Duncan then starts chuffing behind George, and is very cross. George was only going a speed of 40kmph, so Duncan had to do the same. At a junction, George's roller wheel jams the points, and Duncan crashes into George's back!

4. Bash and Dash Go Splash!

It has been raining hard on Sodor lately, so that means there were a lot of puddles. Big or small, short or tall. There were puddles everywhere! Bash and Dash like puddles, though, so they decided to go and splash around. When they got to the place with the most puddles on the entire island, the Transfer Yards, they were having a blast! The twins were splashing so big, by the time they were back on the North Western Railway, they were so wet they couldn't pull coaches. They were soon dried off at the Steamworks, and they were glad to be Really Useful.

5. Aqua Diesel

Diesel is tired of working at Anopha Quarry with Thomas, Edward, Toby and Mavis. He wants to go out and do something exciting. Then, Sir Topham Hatt tells Diesel to go to Duck's branchline and deliver some stone to make improvements. Diesel sets off, and starts to actually have fun for once. Diesel starts to run by the ocean, and goes a bit faster. Diesel goes so fast, he falls off the tracks and into the water! Diesel then floats to the track leading to Misty Caverns, and goes, soaking wet, back to the quarry.

6. Blaze's Wild Ride!

Blaze is still new on Sodor, and doesn't know all the lines. While he's collecting Jobi wood at the Misty Island Logging Station, he goes down a steep slope and his brakes fail! Blaze is then sent on a wild ride all over Misty Island. First the Shake Shake Bridge, then the Hollow Tree Tunnel, and then he crashes into a siding! The buffers break, and Blaze runs into a tree! His driver telephones the Search and Rescue Centre, and Rocky is on his way. Blaze is loaded on to the rails, and Victor shunts him back to the Steamworks to give Blaze new brakes.
