Chicago and West Michigan Railroad
From TrainSpottingWorld, for Rail fans everywhere
The Chicago and West Michigan Railroad was a railroad operating in the U.S. states of Indiana and Michigan. It stretched from Porter, Indiana to Petoskey, Michigan, primarily serving the western shore of Michigan's Lower Peninsula. It was built in the 1800s; later in that century, it was consolidated with two other Michigan railroads to form the Pere Marquette Railway.
