Various Trivia
Donald and Douglas are depicted as having a blue coat, as depicted in the Rev. W. Awdry's Railway Series books.
- The Skarloey Railway has had many different controllers throughout the books. Mr. Peter Sam (referred as 'manager', in the RWS and Season 4 stories, like 'Peter Sam' and 'Sir Handel'), The Fat Controller (Mainly in Season 6 & 7 stories, like 'Rusty' and 'Rheneas'), and Mr. Percival (In Season 9 & 10 stories, like 'Mighty Mac' and most likely 'Fearless Freddie').
- There are numerous mistakes in some of these books. Some of the main ones include Duck having green wheels (Annie & Clarabel), Bill & Ben having reversed letters (CCS instead of SCC-Fergus), and Monty referred as Max (Jack). Minor ones include Sir Handel having a blue bufferbeam (Skarloey), James having his tender connected to his valence (Thomas), and 'Arry and Bert having red buffer beams ('Arry and Bert).
