Tennessee Central Railway Museum

From TrainSpottingWorld, for Rail fans everywhere

The Tennessee Central Railway Museum (TCRM) in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, is a small, privately-owned museum which works to preserve the heritage of rail transport in Tennessee and the Central South. The museum takes its name from the former Tennessee Central Railway Company, which no longer exists.

The museum owns a collection of historic rolling stock which it restores and uses for occasional rail excursions in the area, both for fundraising and educational purposes. It runs an all-volunteer heritage railway dedicated to preserving, restoring, interpreting, and operating historic railroad equipment. TCRM currently has nine diesel-electric locomotives and thirty other cars/engines.
