Ned Kincade

Ned Kincade is a fictional character from the children's TV show Shining Time Station. He only appeared in the 1-hour special Once Upon a Time.

[edit] Ned's Origins
No-one quite knows where Ned first came from. Becky made a wish to meet a real cowboy from a long time ago, for just one day. Her wish soon came true, in the form of Ned, a cowboy from 100 years ago.All Ned is able to remember is that he was chasing after a train, but he's not even sure why he was chasing it.

- Great-Grandson: After Ned disappeared back into the mural, as a painting on the wall, Stacy was getting ready to leave the station that night. Just as she was leaving, a man (who looks very similar to Ned) came in, asking if he could have a ride into town, as he missed his train. He soon reveals that Ned was his great-grandfather.
[edit] Relationship with Other Characters
- Ned has met Schemer, Billy, Stacy, Dan, Mayor Flopdinger, Mr. Conductor and possibly the other kids from Shining Time.
[edit] Relationship with Stacy Jones
- Stacy and Ned fell in love when they first met. They spent almost the whole episode together. This caused Schemer to be extremely jealous.
[edit] Nrd's Disappearnace
At the end of the day, Ned was going to disappear back into the Mural as a painting on the wall. Mr. Conductor informed him of this. Ned was going to write Stacy a note explaining things, but had to save everyoen from a runaway train before he could. After saving them, he rode off into the sunset, and back into the mural, bringing his sotry to a complete close. (if you look at his picture on the mural, you can see him chasing a train).

- Though Ned as portrayed by Ed Begley Jr. has not been seen in any other epiosde aside from "Once Upon a Time", the painting of Ned on the Mural has been seen since the first episode.
