King's Cross-Cambridge Line

The King's Cross to Cambridge Line links King's Cross station in London with Cambridge station in Cambridge. It is an alternative to the West Anglia Main Line, which links Liverpool Street station, also in London to Cambridge. Services in the line are run by First Capital Connect. It exists as a distinct line only between Cambridge (where it shares tracks for a while with the West Anglia Main Line) and Hitchin (north of which it merges with the East Coast Main Line).

The line is electrified at 25 kV AC, using overhead wires.
