File:UP Big Boy 4012.jpg
Union Pacific Railroad Big Boy #4012 raises a giant cloud above it as it powers uphill with 45 cars at approximately 40 mph at Riview, Wyoming on a cold November 29, 1941 in this photo by Otto Perry. (Contrary to popular belief, the 'cloud' is composed mostly of condensed steam, with only relatively little smoke.)
